Yes, although we require that files are uploaded via our website for your security. Many times, videos found on YouTube etc. cannot be downloaded. In these cases, you may send the link directly to info@gmrtranscription.com. A conversion surcharge of $0.50 per audio minute will apply.

Visit the home page of GMR Transcription and click on either "Register Now" or "Signup Now". There will be a one-time $1 setup fee. Once you are registered, you will be guided through the process for sending files.

We do not ask for any payment up front. You will get a notification email when your transcripts are complete and ready for you to download. At that time, you can log into your account, pay for your transcripts with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express accepted) and once payment is made, your transcripts will be emailed to you immediately. We ask that you pay for your transcripts within 3-5 days of them being completed.

We have a large pool of transcribers and another very large pool waiting to join our panel of transcribers. We can handle projects of any size. However, we may need some time to organize for transcription work of over 10 hours that requires a very short turnaround time.

We convert all audio tapes in digital form, and will send your original tape back. We advise that you make a copy of your master tapes just in case your tape gets lost or damaged in shipping. Also, please make certain to send, along with the media, a self-addressed, stamped envelope or package in order to return the media.

Most of our Spanish translators are located in US. We do use some translators located in South American countries like Argentina, Colombia, Mexico etc.We specially use them if translation requires dialects of these countries.

Unless asked upfront, we use the "American" dialect of Spanish. It is the language that you hear on TV or print. We do have Spanish translators in other countries and do accommodate specific requests for translation to be used in another Spanish speaking country.

Free tools are good for getting the gist of the content translated. It will never be of broadcast, publish or print quality.

Yes, but this, as well as audios with thick accents, may be deemed "difficult." Due to difficulty, this type of audio may cost more to transcribe.

We accept text-to-text, audio-to-text and video-to-text files. Files can be uploaded and transcripts downloaded 365 days a year.

So long as special instructions (if any) and the audio duration are included, you can upload as many files as you wish. Work will then begin immediately. If errors occur, files can be deleted.
